Florian Thauvin is a major doubt to be available for Sunday’s Serie A match between Inter Milan and Udinese.
This according to today’s print edition of Rome-based newspaper Corriere dello Sport, via FCInterNews. They also report that former Inter forward Alexis Sanchez will be out.
Udinese are preparing to take on Inter Milan in Serie A this weekend.
And beyond the formidable challenge of a visit to the reigning Italian champions, Friulani coach Kosta Runjaic has something of a selection headache in attack.
Former Inter, Arsenal, and Manchester United forward Alexis Sanchez is unavailable.
But it is not just the Chilean who will necessarily miss out on Udinese’s first match back from the international break.
Florian Thauvin A Major Doubt For Inter Milan Vs Udinese Clash
Former Marseille and Newcastle United forward Florian Thauvin was on the sidelines before the start of the international break.
The issue for Thauvin has been persistent plantar fasciitis.

The 32-year-old has aimed to spend the international break recovering.
However, as of yet, Thauvin has not yet quite recovered. He has not returned to training as of yet.
Therefore, this would put the Frenchman’s availability in big doubt for Sunday’s clash with Inter.
That would leave Udinese coach Runjaic very much bereft of key attacking options. Thuavin is a vital player in attack for the Friulani.
