Inter Milan are plotting a summer transfer “revolution” with Como midfielder Nico Paz their priority target.
This according to Italian broadcaster SportItalia, via FCInter1908.
Last summer transfer window was a very quiet one for Inter Milan.
The Nerazzurri’s priority had been keeping the squad from last season together.
Therefore, there were no major outgoings. And only a couple notable incomings.
Inter did sign Piotr Zielinski and Mehdi Taremi on free transfers to bolster the depth.
Then, goalkeeper Josep Martinez and defender Tomas Palacios arrived as reinforcements for the longer-term future.
But that was it.
Inter Milan Plot Summer Transfer “Revolution” – Nico Paz The Priority
This coming summer transfer window is going to be an entirely different story, though.
Inter have started to show their age this season, with the oldest average squad age in Serie A.

Therefore, the plan is to revitalize the team all over the pitch.
In defense, Inter will sign a younger player to take over for one of Stefan de Vrij or Francesco Acerbi in the squad.
Then, in midfield, there is Henrikh Mkhitaryan, who turned 36 this season. Signing a younger long-term replacement for the Armenian is certainly a priority.
Petar Sucic has already arrived in midfield.
However, considering that the likes of Davide Frattesi and Kristjan Asllani could leave, Inter will almost certainly sign at least one more midfielder.
And the priority is definitely breakout Como midfielder Nico Paz, reports SportItalia.
Lastly, the broadcaster note, Inter are ready to invest in a young striker to replace the likes of Marko Arnautovic and Joaquin Correa.
