Marcus Thuram and Alessandro Bastoni excelled in Inter Milan’s 2-0 win at Feyenoord, but Piotr Zielinski failed to live up to the billing.
According to Gazzetta dello Sport via FCInterNews, most Nerazzurri players fared outstandingly at De Kuip.
Despite playing out of position, Bastoni was impressive.
Indeed, the Italian center-back played as a left wingback as Simone Inzaghi couldn’t count on Federico Dimarco.
However, that didn’t prevent the Inter stalwart from delivering another emphatic performance.
Bastoni & Thuram Shine in Inter Milan Win Vs Feyenoord, Zielinski Not as Much
In addition to Bastoni, Marcus Thuram also had a phenomenal game.
He opened the scoring with a thumping finish from close range before drawing a second-half penalty.

Unfortunately, Zielinski failed to convert it as Timon Wellenreuther thwarted his attempt from the spot.
Therefore, the Pole failed to seize the opportunity to cement this first-team status at Giuseppe Meazza.
Inzaghi gave him a rare chance to start ahead of Henrikh Mkhitaryan.
However, after last night’s disappointment, Zielinski could return to the bench when Inter take on Monza on Saturday.
