Marcus Thuram and Carlos Augusto will miss Inter Milan’s Serie A clash with Genoa this weekend through injury.
This according to Italian broadcaster Sky Sport Italia, via FCInterNews.
Inter Milan take on Genoa in Serie A on Saturday evening.
Victory will be essential after last weekend’s bitterly disappointing loss to Juventus. The Nerazzurri must bounce back and head into their top-of-the-table clash with Napoli with three points.
But there are some injuries that Inter will have to work around.
Firstly, goalkeeper 2 will be absent. The 36-year-old has fractured his thumb, and will be on the sidelines for the next 3-4 weeks.
But it’s not just Sommer, reports Sky.

Striker Marcus Thuram will also have to sit out Saturday’s match, reports Sky.
The Frenchman is still recovering from an ankle knock from a match against Fiorentina earlier this month.

Thuram was able to come off the bench against Juventus on Sunday. However, he did not look at his sharpest.
And according to Sky, Thuram is still dealing with some pain. Therefore, the Frenchman will not be in the squad against Genoa this weekend.
Meanwhile, reports Sky, versatile defender Carlos Augusto will also be absent.
This is because of a calf bruise that the Brazilian sustained during last Sunday’s loss to Juventus.
