AC Milan and Inter have submitted the masterplan to the Municipality of Milan for the construction of the new San Siro stadium.
Per Calcio e Finanza via FCInterNews, the Serie A giants have also provided an estimate of the economic impact of the new facility.
Despite numerous hurdles along the way, AC Milan and Inter Milan should eventually make their dream come true.
Indeed, both clubs are eager to purchase the San Siro and surrounding areas, aiming to build a state-of-the-art stadium.
AC Milan & Inter Massive San Siro Project Could Create 16,000 Job Opportunities

The impact estimates project a total of €4.6 billion in economic activity during the construction phase.
Furthermore, it would lead to an annual GDP contribution of approximately €1.4 billion once the stadium becomes operational.
Specifically, the construction phase will create a cumulative impact of €4.6bn.
In terms of employment, this monumental project would create around 16,000 job opportunities.
For context, this includes 8,400 jobs in direct employment, 7,250 jobs in indirect employment, and 700 jobs in induced employment.
