Juventus inquired about signing wantaway Inter Milan midfielder Davide Frattesi during the January transfer window.
This according to today’s print edition of Turin-based newspaper Tuttosport, via FCInterNews. They report that the Bianconeri could still make a surprise move for Frattesi this summer.
Davide Frattesi stayed at Inter in January. But it was only after a long transfer saga.
Reportedly, the 25-year-old made clear at the start of the month that he wanted to leave.
The issue for Frattesi was a relative lack of playing time at Inter.

By far the strongest transfer links concerning Frattesi were with Roma.
However, Tuttsport note, the Giallorossi were not the only team to show an interest in Frattesi’s signature.

Napoli also sounded out a possible move for the former Sassuolo midfielder.
And then, Juventus also expressed an interest.
The Bianconeri are currently in the midst of a major midfield rebuild. The likes of Teun Koopmeiners, Khephren Thuram, and Douglas Luiz are all trying to find their place at the club.
Therefore, Juventus are still considering more midfield signings.
Nothing came of the Bianconeri’s interest in Frattesi last month.
However, note Tuttosport, it remains the case that Davide Frattesi is all but certain to leave Inter in the summer.
And Juventus could tempt the Italian international with a new adventure across the Derby d’Italia divide.
